PRE-SANCTIFIED LITURGIES
Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts will begin at 6:00 pm. Wednesday, March 10th at St. Mary's Assumption, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA. The faithful should prepare themselves for Holy Communion in the usual way: prayer, fasting almsgiving and regular confession. There will be a modest 'pot-luck' Lenten meal offered after the Liturgy. People are encouraged to bring something to share with others.

GRECIAN FESTIVAL NEWS
Everyone is invited to the next Grecian Festival meeting on Tuesday, March 9th at 6:30pm. The count down is on with less than 3 months to the date of June 4, 5, & 6, 2010. We hope you all plan to attend and offer your time and talent to help make this festival the best ever.
REGIONAL CLERGY LAITY
We are hosting the second Regional Clergy Laity Ongoing Education Seminar at our Cathedral on Monday, March 8th at 6:30pm. The Parish Councils and Ministry Leaders from the Central Mass Greek Orthodox parishes are all asked to partake in this seminar. We strongly recommend that our Parish Council and Ministry Chairmen/Leaders attend this seminar. A light dinner will be provided. Father Greg is available if you have any questions.
PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
The Philotochos Society will be hosting a Lenten Luncheon following the Divine Liturgy in the Cotsidas Auditorium on March 14th. The Ladies of the Philotochos will be taking reservations today following Divine Liturgy. Proceeds will benefit the Philoptochos charities.
We wish to thank Dimitra Kimbouris who donated the $400 she collected from the Saturday of Souls Liturgy to the Philoptochos Society. This makes it possible for us to purchase more health kits for Haiti.

THE FRIENDS OF HOPE CEMETERY

If you are a Fallon Community Health Plan member, you are able to go to Holy Trinity for your rehabilitation if you let the case manager know as soon as possible that you are a member of the Orthodox Community. They will make the referral to Holy Trinity, and we will do the rest!

HELLENIC ARTS SOCIETY
The Hellenic Arts Society presents BUILD A TEMPLE AND THEY WILL COME on March 21st, a slide presentation and lecture by Professor Blaise Nagy of the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. Professor Nagy will talk about a mysterious 5th century BCE temple, usually referred to as a Greek temple situated in the ancient town of Segesta in Sicily, Italy. He will explain how its construction may have influenced a major event of the Peloponnesian War. Sicily, along with Southern Italy, was once referred to as Magna Graecia and was colonized by Greek settlers in the 8th century BCE. Lecture and slides at 7:00 pm in the Tonna Reception Room. Reception to follow. Free and open to all.
